Application Notes

• The online application for the 2025-26 award cycle is available on Monday, September 1, 2025. The deadline for submitting an application to the University of Michigan's President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:59pm Pacific Time.


• Applicants and those uploading letters of recommendation should use Internet Explorer whenever possible. Some individuals have experienced difficulties uploading letters of recommendation using other browsers.


• The University of California is hosting the application for both the University of California and University of Michigan President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Programs. Those applying to the University of Michigan President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program will receive a confirmation message from a University of California email address; this message only serves as confirmation that the application system received your application, not that your application was submitted to the University of California program.
